yesterday's scienzation was really fun! we were supposed to make this air refresher thing. but the first time we made it the gel really stinked. it smelled like cough syrup to me. so we ended up redoing the whole thing again. the second time we added in like half a bottle of the blueberry flavour. haha. then the teacher told us that the thing that was used to make the gel (gelatin) was actually taken from the animals' connective tissue. eeks.
today science rawked! we experimented on this mixing of matter thingy and it was really cool! i didnt know that sometimes mixing can result in chemical changes la. ahahs. so i mixed the magnesium ribbon with hydrochloric acid in the test tube and guess what? the test tube heated up. all by itself. so cool! XD so anyway, we are supposed to cover the test tube for awhile and place a lighted splint into the test tube. so i did this and it went pop! ahahs. then i used julia's iron fillings with hydrocholoric acid and this time it went wheet! the sound was like super cute can! ^^ hurhur.
argh. i cant wait for the june holidays to come. sighhs.
